Flat Braid 3-Ch Crochet Join Tutorial
It’s a big photo-intense file--26 pages. You can:
This is the Flat-Braid 3-Ch non-continuous (in other words, there are 2 ends on every block that have to be weaved in) join for afghan blocks. It is very descriptive and photo intense and I think you would find it very useful for a pretty and fairly quick method of joining afghan blocks.
I don’t claim to have invented this method; in fact, you can find YouTube videos and other photos of it elsewhere. I do have a rather unique and thorough teaching style that some people appreciate, and some people? Not so much. If it suits you, use it. If it doesn’t--find something else. Plenty out there!
Size: You can join any size blocks with the method.
Preparation: There is a short introduction for working equalizer rounds on the blocks before you begin and a link to the math on that. That material is unique to me.
The continuous Flat-Braid 3-Ch join is available too:
I think it is much easier now.
I am in the process of turning all these tutorials into pdf--it will happen eventually.
