Flat Entrelac
A tutorial on how to knit entrelac pattern in stocking stitch on 2 needles:
small diamonds worked on the bias, each picked up from the sides of the one below.
With this knowledge you can make a bag, cover for your laptop, a scarf, wrap, blanket – or any rectangular piece.
Patterns for a laptop bag and pouch are given in full to demonstrate the entrelac method.
There are also notes to make a scarf in Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn and instructions on how to use the entrelac technique for other items.
The pattern includes how to “knit backwards” – work purl side stitches on the knit side to save turning.
