Frida the Ragdoll
Frida is bright and fun. She is inspired by the famous Mexican painter Frida Kahlo who was confidently unconventional. Bold and unafraid to be unique.
Frida is a ragdoll style crochet pattern for intermediate crocheters written using US (American) terms. You will work the pieces in rows before crocheting together and stuffing.
The pattern includes detailed instructions in an easy to follow layout but a knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques used to make ragdolls is essential.
Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished items. My Frida the Ragdoll is approximately 23cm tall (9 inches).
You will receive one PDF file which requires software like Adobe Reader to open (this is free to download).
You will need:
- 3.00mm hook/C-2 (US)
- 8ply/DK yarns in BLACK, NUDE, YELLOW, RED, BLUE, GREEN and PURPLE, less than 50g of each
- scissors
- Tapestry needle
- Polyester toy stuffing
- Stitch marker (optional)
Notes:
-
A yarn with no stretch is best, I use cotton or cotton blend.
