Furballs’ Lemon Round Garter Star is a 10” diameter dishcloth shaped as a five (5) arm star. Simple and yet elegant, the garter stitch body is surrounded by a beautiful decorative bind off that reminds me of reverse single crochet stitch. It is a second way to knit a star and the stitch combo, an easier version, is chosen to best suit the garter stitch. Written in one (1) colour and one (1) string, it is done from center out, so theoretically it could be as small (coaster) or as big (blanket) as you wish. The garter fabric provides a coarse surface and best used in everyday dish washing. It was the third step from my charity pattern, When A Star Is Born
