Gabriella is a peaceful angel, with gold metallic yarn to bring some sparkle! Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the angel is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round), and the arms are i-cord tubes worked on two DPNs.

NEEDLES
A pair of 3.75mm straight single pointed knitting needles (US 5) and two 3.5mm DPNs (US 4).

RECOMMENDED YARN
Sirdar Hayfield Bonus DK; double knitting/light worsted weight; 100% acrylic; up to 25g each in white and pink shades. A 3ply/fingering yarn in gold is used for the hair and trim, or use a gold embroidery thread or floss without separating the strands. 


NOTIONS
Tapestry needle and toy filling.

One size only - 11.5cm tall.

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish. The hair is embroidered onto the head after making up.
