Galapagos Giant Tortoise Tea Cosy
The Galapagos Giant Tortoise Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern was designed by TeaCosyFolk’s Susan Cowper and it’s an exciting and fun tea cosy as usual.
He’s stood up on his legs and is slowly moving along with his long neck extended up and out.
His shell is all knobbly, this is achieved with short rows, but only a few, and stuffing and stitching to make little pockets where the bumps need to be.
The claws on his feet are super cute, they are knitted bobbles that are worked into one row of the leg. There is a link to a Youtube help video to show you how to knit the bobbles.
He’s a lovely tea cosy to make and he looks amazing, he’s perfect for people who love reptiles.
The Galapagos Giant Tortoise tea cosy fits a medium sized teapot that covers a teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting Him very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only; to knit your own Galapagos Giant Tortoise tea cosy.
