I love how a simple rectangle with two slits for armholes magically turns into a beautifully draped wraparound cardigan! This piece is remarkably easy to knit, but it is dramatic and sophisticated when worn. The fringe adds a dash of flair, and it looks entirely different if you pull it across to button it or leave it open.

Tubular cast on / cast off, and ribbing creates a polished edging. Because you knit it vertically and then it drapes on a diagonal, playing with different colors and textures of yarns will yield strikingly different results. I love mixing yarn bases, and both of these versions experiment with combining different weights and textures of yarns. With two pattern variations at different gauges you can combine an endless variety of yarns!
