I got my inspiration for this tam, from Franklin Habit’s Templeton Square in the Winter 2012 issue of Knitty. He got his inspiration from the Weldon’s Practical Knitter (4th Series). Inspiration can come from anywhere and everywhere. I thought this pattern looked like leaves caught in a garden trellis; so, I worked the pattern a couple times, added some leaves that haven’t quite got caught in the trellis yet, and ended with a ribbing that looks like small vines just starting to grow up. The beads were added for a little sparkle, but are optional.

This pattern is three patterns in one. If you buy this tam you also get the fingerless gloves and the scarf that coordinates.
