Giant Mushroom
“on a giant mushroom red with white dots, Spindle-shank the little gnome was wobbling back and forward. Crack! did the mushroom with a heavy sigh, both the legs of Spindle-shank hoopla! Went in the air”. It’s sort of the first Dutch song that we learned mostly because “hoopla in the air” generally unleashed an enthusiastic laughter. The giant mushroom should not be missing in this book. Nice as decoration, bookend or as a toy. In case it is going to be a toy, embroider the buttons and leave the plastic pellets out so the little ones can play nicely with it.
Patterns comes with a tutorial for chain-stitch embroidery.
