The Gift of Gab is a fun lightweight, but squishy cowl. It is easily modified to adjust the width. It is designed to be smaller at the neck, then by keeping half the buttons open it will lay nicely around your shoulders.

It is a brioche stitch, so it is a nice introduction into brioche knitting. This is also a purl free pattern. Thanks to this squishy stitch.
