Go Fish Shawl
Fish are swimming safely above the fishing net. Underneath the net is the sea bed, rippled into a beautiful geometric pattern by the power of the waves.
The shawl is worked sideways in one piece, including the edging, starting at the right tip and ending with the left tip.
The four patterns are worked side by side, separated by stitch markers.
The shawl requires approx. 550 yds (500m) of fingering weight yarn or 4ply yarn. Solid colours work best.
Measurements: 75” (190cm) wide and 19.5” (50cm) deep.
These measurements are not critical for the finished shawl and should be seen as guidance only. The shawl can be worked in other yarn weights, too, but then yardage and finished size depend on the yarn weight and needle size chosen and the degree of blocking.
The instructions are in form of charts and as fully written instructions. These are rather lengthy, extending the pattern to 22 pages. If you only need the charts, print out pages 1 - 13.
I would recommend the pattern for advanced beginners.
