This is a lovely stitch and a fun moderately easy project for you to create!

CROCHET IS REQUIRED TO ADD TIES TO BONNET AND EARS AND FEET TO TINY BEAR: Must be able to work a chain, slip stitch and single crochet stitch

Materials Required for this Item:

4 medium weight yarn (full set) bulky weight for tiny bear

For this hat I used 1- 170 gram ball of Big Twist in color Ivory for this entire set. I completed this set using 145 grams…so just shy of a full 170 gram ball. For the tiny bear I used Sirdar Freya in color SH0857. From the 50 gram ball you will only use approx. 5 grams of yarn so roughly 10 meters
Size 5mm (US 8) circular needle (16 inch length)

Size 4.5mm crochet hook (bonnet ties and shorts waistband tie)

Size 6mm (US 10) 16 inch circular needle (bear)

Size 6mm crochet hook (bear feet and ears)

Darning needle

4 stitch marker

Clover 3 3/8th size pompom maker

Small amount of stuffing and black yarn for bear features
