Whitby is a picturesque fishing village in North Yorkshire. It is also famous for habing inspired Bram Stoker’s Gothic 19th century novel, ‘Dracula’.
Having knitted a multi-coloured Whitby Abbey hat, I wanted to use this fabulous variegated sock yarn to suggest the sunset and the iconic abbey silhouetted against the sky with bats flying from the ruins.
