There are several needle changes during the course of this pattern. I encourage you do a continuous gauge swatch using all 3 needle sizes starting with the smallest and working to the largest.
I used Pure and Simple silk for this version & Be Sweet Bamboo for a more casual, playful version. Use any yarn that has a lovely drape.
