Granny is knitting a tiny scarf. This doll would make a lovely gift for Mother’s or Grandmother’s Day. The spectacles are made from jewellery wire, and the teeny knitting needles are cocktail sticks. As these pieces can be sharp, Granny is not a toy suitable for young children, but this would make a sweet decorative piece.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, Granny is knitted in acrylic DK yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round). Granny’s little sample of knitting is made by knitting with embroidery thread on skinny 2mm needles.

A pair each of 3.5mm and 2mm single pointed knitting needles (US 4 & 0)
