For this year’s Valentine Heart I wanted to make a flatter, more solid and multi-purpose Granny Heart coaster that could be used all year long. Success! Plus, this Granny Heart is also the perfect applique for decorating a variety of projects like gift bags, totes, baby clothes, and banners. The opportunities are endless!

The directions are for worsted yarn, but you can really make it with any yarn and one hook size smaller than recommended on the label!

This is really an intermediate pattern, but I have included an FULL PHOTO TURORIAL to help all those beginners looking for a challenge! More experienced stitchers will just love how fast and fun these are to make!
