This is the DK VERSION of this pattern. It is also available in fingering weight here.

Ease into and out of the Winter Solstice with a meditative fading shawl. The middle of the shawl will be reached on the Winter Solstice (Dec 21) to mark the longest night of the year by working the longest row of the shawl.

There is no pressure to keep up with the knitting each week, feel free to move at your own pace.

YARN
This pattern will use 4 full skeins of DK weight yarn. Once colourways are revealed, a suggested fade order will be provided for each part, but feel free to create your own fade of four skeins!

NEEDLES
If you wish to ready your needles now, the sample was knit using 5.0mm circular needles with a 100cm cord. Use the size that allows you to obtain gauge.
