This crochet pattern is for an adorable Grover from Sesame Street.

This easy crochet pattern is written in US terms and is designed for crocheters with a solid understanding of simple crochet, and who don’t mind a little bit of sewing. Lots of photos are included to help you along the way.

You will need:
• 150 grams size 4 (worsted weight) yarn in Royal Blue
• 30 grams each size 4 weight yarn in Black, White, Red, Pink
• Crochet hook size H 5.00 mm
• Crochet hook size G 4.00 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Fiber Fill
• Stitch marker
• 2 x 1/4-inch black buttons ONLY if piece is being made for people over 3 years of age.

Notes
• Grover’s legs, body and head are worked in one piece, using 2 strands of yarn held together.
• Grover’s arms are worked separately, using 2 strands of yarn held together, in continuous rounds and are sewn on.
• Grover’s mouth, nose and eyes are worked separately, using 1 strand of yarn and smaller hook and are sewn on.
• Grover is worked in continuous rounds.
• The finished piece is approximately 8.5 inches tall.
