Roz-isms kit with worsted weight yarn and/or boucle or mohair with fingering weight. Color A- brim color
Color B- main body color
Color C- cats (remember this can be one strand of worsted or a strand boucle or mohair with fingering weight held together) Any worsted weight yarn should be a suitable substitute.
If desired use a scrap amount of a 4th color to duplicate stitch over the sphincter. You can also substitute any fingering/mohair or fingering/boucle combination for the cats if you are purchasing this pattern sans kit.
The original was knit with Malabrigo Rios.

Needles and notions Size US 7 (4.5mm)- 16” circulars Size US 7 (4.5mm)- dpns Darning needle, scissors, pom pom (optional)
Gauge Approx. 20 sts and 29 rows = 4” stocking st after blocking

Finished Size Fits up to 23” head

I admit I have a weird sense of humor. I have had this hat idea in mind for quite some time and one day I finally knit up the sample. You can add a pom pom or leave it as is. I added a contrast color to the sphincter of the butt for an added hilarity. The hat is sure to get a lot of attention either way! This hat uses stranded knitting and is easy for those new to the technique. This version is “re-mixed” because it no longer has color work throughout the body. I didn’t always want to do it and imagine you may not want to as well. This version also has samples made up all in worsted weight, with mohair or boucle and a fingering weight yarn held double for added texture and interest to the cat butts.
