Halaus means a hug in Finnish. It is something that we all long for sometimes. This pullover is a light woolly mohair hug. The pullover is worked from the top-down, so you can adjust the length easily. You have to be able to read charts for this pattern.

The pullover is intended to be worn with some amount (2-8”/5-20 cm) of positive ease. Finished garment measurements:

The sample modeled is in Size S-M, worn on 34” bust, with approx 9”/22 cm positive ease. Note that the big cables will pull back as ribbing even after wet-blocking which gives more fitted look even there is a large amount of positive ease in the measurements.

GAUGE:
17 sts and 26 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with larger (US 7/4,5 mm) needles.
24 sts and 26 rows = 4” 10 cm in cable pattern with larger (US 7/4,5 mm) needles.
12 sts and 24 rows = 4” 10 cm in 2x2 ribbing with larger (US 8/5 mm) needles.

Onion Knit Mohair+Wool (50 % Goat Mohair, 50% Wool 50g/164yds/150m). You need approx.: 8.5(9.5, 11, 12.5, 15.5) skeins = 1400(1560, 1780, 2035, 2480) yds/1270(1425, 1625, 1860, 2270) m. The sample was worked in colorway 325 (yellow).
Needles:
US 4 (3,5 mm) 32”/ 80-120 cm circular needle.
US 6 (4 mm) 32”/ 80-120 cm circular needle.
US 7 (4,5 mm) 32”/ 80-120 cm circular needle.
US 8 (5 mm) 32”/ 80-120 cm circular needle.
(US 7 (4,5 mm) dpn:s for knitting sleeves in the round. You can also knit the sleeves in the round with magic loop method using one long circular needle. Choose the method you prefer.)
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
