A fitted, seamless, long-sleeved sweater with a cozy cowl neck, Halifax is constructed from the top down with set-in sleeves knit simultaneously with the body. Pattern includes step-by-step instructions, including diagrams to help with the tricky bits. Short rows are used for the shoulder slopes but not for the sleeve caps. Modeled sweater is worn with 2” of positive ease.
Skills required:
• Short rows (for shoulder slopes only)
• Picking up stitches
• Increasing
• Decreasing
• Long-tail and backwards-loop (e-wrap) cast-on
• Changing colors - you may want to use a method to avoid jogs

Needles required:
• US 5/3.75 mm circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge. You will need two or three circulars when working the shoulders. You will need short circulars or dpns for the sleeves and neck.
• The 3 larger needle sizes given are used for knitting the cowl, so you will need short circulars for each size.
