Fun, Halloween-inspired bees! There’s a ghost, zombie and candycorn bee – quick, cute makes for anyone to enjoy!

Hallo-bees are an easy amigurumi (crochet) pattern written in English using US (American) terminology. The pattern includes detailed instructions in an easy to follow layout but a knowledge of basic crochet stitches and techniques used to make amigurumi is essential.

Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished items. My Hallo-bees are 8cm long x 8cm tall (wings incl.)

You will need:

• 2.2mm hook/B-1 (US)
• 4ply yarn/fingering > less than 50g yarn in each colour
• BLACK thread to embroider
• 1x 5mm safety eye
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle
• Polyester toy stuffing
• Stitch marker (optional)

Notes:

• Amigurumi stitched in the round (unless it says otherwise) and a yarn with no stretch is best.
• When changing colour, pull through the new colour on the stitch before you need it. This will ensure that you have the correct colour yarn on the hook for the upcoming stitch.
• Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
• Your tension, yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of your finished items.
