Designed for a dear friend’s twins (a boy and a girl) who live in Austria … too far away for me to cuddle so I made these hoodies for them to send them love from us!

Gretel’s sweater has a-line shaping, with a lovely lace hem (the stitch pattern is both charted and written out). Hansel’s sweater sports a manly k5p5 checkerboard hem and is a classic, straight styling.

You will need dpn’s and circs in size 9 for this design.

Each sweater requires approx 350 (400, 420) yards of mc and 100 yards of CC for the yoke. The sample used Plymouth’s Galway in Bright Plum for Gretel and Royal Blue for Hansel (with the yoke using 100 yards each for the yoke in Paint 810).
