This is the kid pattern for the Happy Ocean Top. For those who like to ‘mini-me’, an adult version is available here on Ravelry too! The top depicts whale and octopus families and part of the proceeds of this pattern I will donate to Greenpeace. Every little bit helps to support them in saving ocean life for our kids, I hope.

Intermediate: this pattern involves knitting in the round, stranded colourwork and optional short row techniques.

Yarn
Sport, Walk Bliss, hand-dyed 100% wool superwash merino, ultrafine, 360/100g (393 yds/100g), MC: 200-400m/218-437yds, shade Apollo (greyish light blue).
Sport, Wol met Verve, hand-dyed 80% superwash merino wool, 20% Nylon, 365m/100g (399yds/100g), CC: 50m/54yds Tie Die (deep green blue).
Note: for my sample in the smallest size I used cotton from my waste stash, weight 50gr/100m (50gr/109yds): MC 150m/164yds and CC 38m/54yds.

Needles
Circular needles 3,5 mm (4 US) cable sizes 60 cm (24 in), 80 cm (32 in) and DPNs. Or you can knit with 2 circulars avoiding all different cable lengths needed.

Gauge
25 sts x 40 rounds = 10x10 cm (4x4 in) in stockinet stitch after blocking.

Stitch markers, tapestry needle.
