Heliodor Mitts feature garter and slipped stitch stripes, making these a perfect project for variegated yarns, but look great with solids too! These mitts knit up quickly in fingering weight yarn, and are a great project to use up sweater leftovers - or knit up two pairs with one skein. Pick out that special skein of hand-painted yarn that you’ve been saving— these mitts will show off your stitches beautifully.

This pattern assumes knowledge of basic cables, increasing, and decreasing. Both charts and written directions are provided for all stitch patterns.
