Hoozuki Hat
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
The original Houzuki Hat was released in 2011.
I am publishing the updated version, Hoozuki Hat, in 2022.
The stitch pattern used in this hat is based on the shape of the fruit of the physalis plant. It was designed by Anna Kuduja. I’ve fallen in love with the Physalis Lace, which I found so much fun to knit that I became addicted.
This hat is one of my adaptations using the Physalis.
In my hometown, in Japan, Hoozuki is the name for Chinese Lantern or Physalis.
Hope you enjoy making 40 Hoozuki fruits on your hat!
Pattern includes both written and charted instructions.
Houzuki Hat is the first edition.
Hoozuki Hat is the updated edition.
