Humpty Dumpty
You only need small amounts of DK (8-ply) yarn. Knitting skill is the basic knit and purl, but you need to take care when assembling.
All parts are knitted flat and sewn up at the end. No circular knitting is required.
Materials
For Humpty Dumpty: This project requires very small amounts of DK (8-ply) yarn of each colour. Use your stash or tapestry wool.
Small amounts of navy, white, light blue, dark brown, blue, burgundy, red-brown
For Horseman: 5g red DK, small amounts of navy, dark brown, golden yellow, brown, sky blue DK
A small amount of 4-ply light brown for the hair
The yarn used for the samples:
100% wool, 50g= 120-130m
Tension: 28 sts x 36 rows = 10cm square measured over st st, but not essential
Needles: A pair of 2.75mm (US2) DPNs. Patterns are knitted flat. DPNs to make i-cords
Other supplies: chenille needle or tapestry needle, stuffing wool, or toy filling
Size: Humpty Dumpty 5cm, Horseman 12cm.
