This easy-level pattern includes instructions for sizes ranging from baby to adult, making it versatile for the whole family. The beanie is worked flat and seamed, with a written pattern provided for easy following. Using Lion Brand’s ‘Hometown’ super bulky yarn, this project is quick to complete and yields a soft and warm finished product.

If you seam it flat using a whipstitch seam, you are one step away from a cat hat with pointed ears.

If you use my cinching technique to close the hat it will follow the shape of your head and take on a more traditional hat shape. You can wear it with, or without a pompom as the hat top closes completely.

If you would like a longer hat length you can repeat the rows to your desired hat height.

The stitch multiple is included, as well as, the rectangle measurements for each hat size included (before assembly).

This pattern is available for free on my website which is monetized by ads. If you prefer an ad-free version of the pattern it is available to purchase from my pattern shop.
