Ibsen is worked sideways and shaped into an asymmetrical triangular crescent shawl. Simple lace patterns, stocking stitch and beaded picots combine to make this an elegant scarf.

Schoppel Zauberball 100 (4ply; 100% Superwash Merino Wool; 400m/437yds per 100g) x 1 skein. Shown in shade: 2169 Smoke Signal
4mm (UK 8/US 6) circular needle, 80cm (32in) length
Debbie Abrahams Seed Beads size 6, colour 56 Pewter x 29 (1 Bag)
0.75mm (US 14) crochet hook (for adding beads)
