Construction
· Cardigan body is worked in one piece from the lower edge, then separated at the armholes to work the upper fronts and back. Sleeves stitches are picked up around armhole opening and worked in the round to cuff.
· Shoulder seam is sewn for added stability. If desired, 3-needle bind off may also be used.
·  The body of the cardigan is worked in St st, keeping the first and last 5 sts of front edges in seed st. The sleeves are worked in textured st patt. The Heart Chart is worked in St st rows throughout using intarsia technique.
