Both easy and elegant, this shawl will be a breeze to knit and a pleasure to wear!

It is knit from the top down, starting with the texture part knit in Worsted weight and finished by a pretty ruffle knit in fingering weight. The sample was knit using the same colourway but would be lovely in contrasting colours!

You will need approximately 545 metres/600 yards of Worsted yarn (shown here in Sweetfiber Cashmerino Worsted, colour ‘Seaglass’) and approximately 210 metres /230 yards of fingering yarn (shown here in Sweetfiber Cashmerino fingering, colour ‘Seaglass’)

A 4.5 mm/US 7 circular needle

Tapestry needle, 4 stitch markers

FINISHED SIZE

203 cm/80” wide x 76 cm/30” deep (after blocking, i.e. washing and drying)

GAUGE

22 sts and 28 rows = 4”/10 cm in St st on 4.5 mm/US 7 needle (after blocking). Although the gauge is not crucial, it may affect the size of your shawl.
