Izzy Poncho
Izzy Poncho is a beautiful, modern and easy to make crochet garment.
This pattern is one size only, but it can be easily modified.
CROCHET TERMINOLOGY: The pattern is written using US crochet terms.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: 112 cm x 115 cm (44.1” x 45.3”)
CROCHET HOOK: 3 mm.
YARN: Alize Angora Gold – color ivory no. 159
100 g/550 m (3.58 Oz/601 yds) 80% Acrylic, 20% Wool
You’ll need: 7 skeins of 100g
If you can’t find Alize yarn I would recommend using Drops Alpaca or Drops Flora yarn instead.
CONSTRUCTION: Izzy poncho is made in one piece. You start with the front/back side (it doesn’t matter because they are identical), when you reach the desired length you leave the hole for head opening, and then continue working on the second side, and finish when you reach the desired length. Ribbing is added at the end. You can skip that step if you prefer a simpler design.
The pattern is very detailed, and it has:
- a written pattern,
- a step-by-step photo tutorial on how to make ribbing,
- a step-by-step photo tutorial on how to make cable-6,
- 3 crochet charts,
- a schematic,
- a stitch guide,
- almost 30 step-by-step photographs,
- information on how to adjust the size and
- information on material needed.
