Jack Ladder

Are there roses in Jack Ladder, Newfoundland? There should be! The name invokes imagery of a bed of roses climbing a trellis against a background of black velvety lace. And of course one of the best rock songs ever made -- Bed of Roses -- is playing in the background.

Jack Ladder is a modified raglan, worked bottom up, and the stranded colourwork is worked in the round throughout, ending with a cosy and drapey cowl neck that doubles the snuggle factor.
