Sincerely Louise - SYC - Jennifer the Giraffe!

Our fourth scarp yarn challenge featured a hank of Sweet Georgia in a gorgeous pink and half a ball of slightly sparkly DK yarn. I’d had the hank in my stash for two years, so needed to design a really special pattern with it. Our favourite suggestion was from Jennifer, who said it should be made into a giraffe in honour of April the giraffe, who was expecting her calf at the time.

You will need:
Sweet Georgia Super Wash DK - 1x Guava
DK Cream Yarn - 1 x 50g or you could use Sweet Georgia Super Wash DK - 1x Undyed
Black DK Yarn for Embroidering
4mm Straight Knitting Needles
2 x 10mm Toy Safety Eyes and Washers 120g of Toy Stuffing
Cardboard and Backing Board Template (included in pattern)
Scarp Yarn Markers for Marking the Facial Features

Finished Size: 37cm x 20cm x 17cm

Skill level: Intermediate

Stitches: K, P, Kfb, SKP, K2tog, Colourwork, Mattress Stitch for Sewing Up.
