Here at All You Knit is Love we have some really lovely neighbors. This slouchy beret is inspired by Jovana: a classy, funky and very stylish Serbian singer/waitress.

I fell in love with the star stitch while knitting the beautiful Laminaria shawl. As a lover of 3’s, it was a real treat to be knitting all those k3togs! I wanted to take the stitch to another place and thought a slouchy urban hat would be just the thing!

As KnitWise is 100% alpaca, its drape permits the hat to be worn without blocking. If you want a more beret-type hat, you can block it lightly over a dinner plate or pot lid to give it some extra width.
