Joy Crinoline Doily
A circle of six petite crochet crinolines is worked using the wave or ripple stitch for a delightful effect! With matching hats, they each hold a dainty crochet fan between them and finished with a lace petticoat to join each. Work one girl, a pair of girls, or the entire doily.
Materials:
• 100-yds 100% cotton thread, size 10 in ea color (white, pink, pink ombre, lt blue, blue ombre, maize or lt yellow, yellow or gold/orange ombre)
• Sm amt 100% cotton thread, size 10 (dk pink, dk blue, orange/gold or dk yellow)
• Steel crochet hook size 8 USA (1.50 mm)
Finishing Materials:
• 2 yds (1/8” W) ribbon, white
• Glue, sewing needle & matching thread or no sew fabric glue
• Tapestry needle
Finished Size: 15 ½” dia
Gauge: 2 rows = ½”
