Junta
Keep your neck warm and cozy with Junta. Junta features a fun to knit textured stitch pattern.
Junta is worked lengthwise like a scarf, and then seamed together, making it simple to add length (which would require more yarn). An i-cord edging is worked at the same time as the textured stitch pattern for a neat finish.
Finished Measurements: Approximately 9” x 49” (23 cm x 124 cm)
Yarn: 375 yards of aran weight yarn. Shown using Malabrigo Yarn Merino Worsted. 210 yards/100 grams per skein; 100% Merino. Color: Sauterne, 2 skeins.
Gauge: 18 sts/26 rows = 4 inches/10 cm in stockinette after blocking. Gauge is not critical for this project, but will affect the finished size and yardage.
Needles: US#8/5.0 mm 32” straight or circular needle, or size needed to obtain gauge.
Notions: Waste yarn, crochet hook, and blocking pins.
