This cute and easy to knit yellow ducky blanket is perfect for baby’s first ‘blanky’. It’s small enough for a new born, yet large enough for a toddler to use for afternoon naps. The finished size is approximately 30” x 40”.

This blanket is for the beginning or intermediate knitter. It’s a basic stockinette stitch (K one row, P one row) with the design presented in reverse stockinette (P one row, K one row). Each row of the design contains 5 ducks swimming over the wave. The pattern is written for the ducks to face left and then right in alternating rows. Since directions for both a right facing and a left facing duck is provided, you can decide which way you want your ducks to swim!
