GENERAL INFORMATION
These mitts are worked in the round using two colours of yarn and the woven cross stitch pattern. The woven cross stitch is particularly well suited to variegated yarns and the more contrasting the MC and CC are, the more you see the pattern stand out. The hand circumference and length can be adjusted and there are instructions in the pattern for this.

SIZE
Finished circumference: 7 inches / 17.5 cm, adjustable.
Length: 8 inches / 20 cm, adjustable.
The mitts have some ease so fit up to a 8 inch, 20 cm hand circumference.

MATERIALS
Recommended yarn: Malabrigo Rios, Worsted weight 100% Merino Wool, 100g / 192 m / 210 yds.
MC: 106 m / 116 yds (~55 g) Malabrigo Rios in Colourway Gris.
CC: 30 m / 33 yds (~15 g) Malabrigo Rios in Colourway Diana.

Needles and Notions
You can use DPNs or a >40 inch / 100 cm circular needle for this project.
3.25 mm (US 3) needles or size required to obtain gauge (main needles).
4.5 mm (US 7) needles or size required to match the gauge in woven cross stitch.
BOR stitch marker, 2 slipping stitch markers, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
3.25 mm (US 3) needles 26 sts and 32 rows to 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette st, after washing and drying flat.
