A fun, stranded-knits cap using authentic Shetland jumper weight (fingering) wool. The sample here used six colors of Jamieson & Smith’s Jumper Weight. Knit in the round from the ribbed hem, increased above the ribbing, stranded colorwork in lovely, pulsing blend of colors, and on up to the steadily decreasing top.

Blocked on a plate (or bowl if you prefer) this one will be well-appreciated by the wearer!

You MUST be able to knit in the round (using circular and dpns), read color-charts, and have a working knowledge of stranded knitting.
