Katherine Knit Mitts
I love fingerless mitts for early fall or spring mornings. They keep your hands warm, while still allowing you to hold your coffee, dog leash or market bag (or all 3!) Make these in just a few hours for a perfect thank you gift. Two skeins of yarn make 2 sets of mitts, one for you, one for the person you most want to be walking with!
If you are looking for a complete kit, you can find it HERE
Pattern is designed for mitts to be knit flat and seamed at the end. I find this most simple and enjoyable to knit. The mattress stitch to seam at the end makes the seams relatively unnoticeable. Certainly, if you’d like to knit in the round, the pattern can be adjusted for the magic loop or DPNs. If so, I recommend searching Google for “jogless stripes in knitting.” There are a lot of tutorial that will show you how.
