Kerissa cardigan
This gorgeous Fair Isle cardigan uses intricate color-work to create a striking effect.
The cardigan is worked flat from the bottom up, starting with the body so the color-work pattern can flow continuously without interruption. The body is then divided for the back and fronts and the pattern continues. The sleeves are worked flat separately, then seamed. The all-over color-work is worked from charts. Strand the unused color loosely across WS. Neckband and button-bands are picked up to finish. Take extra care when setting the color-work at the start of each piece, charts begin with WS rows.
