These cable socks feature a lovely cable pattern. The socks are worked from the cuff down. This pattern is written for magic loop but can be modified for DPNs. You have to be able to read charts for this pattern.

Sizing:
One size, women’s US 7-8/EU 37-39.
Finished measurements:
Leg circumference approx. 8.5”/21 cm. This is the measurement of the sock with no ease.
Foot circumference approx. 8.5”/21 cm. This is the measurement of the sock with no ease.
Worn with negative ease: fits to leg circumference 12”/30 cm (measured from where the cuff is placed) and foot circumference 9”/23 cm.
You can modify the size by gauge, needle size and yarn. Use larger yarn and needles for larger sock.

Gauge:
28 sts and 38 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette stitch
34 sts and 38 rows = 4” 10 cm in Cable pattern with larger US 2.5(3 mm) needles.
The leg is worked with larger (US 2.5/3 mm) needles and the hell turn, foot/instep with smaller US1.5(2,5 mm) needles.

Lanitium ex Machina Basic Sock 75 % superwash wool/25 % nylon, 3.5oz/100g/460yds/420m, 1 skein. The sample color is Brickwall.
Needles:
US2.5(3 mm) circular needle for cuff and leg
US1.5(2,5 mm) circular needles for instep
This pattern is written for magic loop. If DPNs are preferred, consider you needles 1&2 as TN and 3&4 as BN.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge/tension for the socks.

Säären ympärys noin 21 cm. Tämä mitta on mitattu kastellusta, pingotetusta sukasta, ei venytetty.
Jalkaterän ympärys noin 21 cm. Tämä mitta on mitattu kastellusta, pingotetusta sukasta, ei venytetty.
Sukat venyvät jalkaan laitettaessa hieman, sopivat sääreen, joka on noin 30 cm (mitattu sukan resorin sijoittumiskohdasta) ja jalkaterään joka on noin 23 cm.
Voit muokata sukkaa isommaksi käyttämällä paksumpaa lankaa tai hieman isompia puikkoja.

Neuletiheys:
28 s ja 38 krs = 10 cm sileää neuletta
34 s ja 38 krs = 10 cm palmikkoneuletta suuremmilla (3 mm) puikoilla.
Säären osuus neulotaan suuremmilla (3 mm) puikoilla ja kantalapun käännös/jalkaterä pienemmillä (2,5 mm) puikoilla.
