This is a pattern for a Lace Edge Kimono,originally published in Knitting magazine. It is in stocking stitch with a lace eyelet twist edging, knitted separately for the lower edges and knitted in on the front edges. Actual bust: 38 -52 ins. Length: 26 3/4 - 29 1/2 ins. You will need: 15(16:17:18:19:20:21:22) x 50 gm balls of yarn, and a pair of 4mm double pointed needles for the belt. the belt could be knitted on standard needles in stocking stitch if preferred. The yarn is now discontinued. Any yarn knitting to this standard DK tension can be used.
