Landscape Cowl
I can’t get enough of cowls, for knitting and wearing. Cowls are a great way to try new stitches and/or yarn without a big investment. They are also perfect for carry along knitting and make wonderful gifts!
I also have at least one cowl on my needles. Here is a newly finished one knit in one skein of Noro Silk Garden Sock. A simple lace pattern and Garter Stitch on larger needles work up prettily in this self striping yarn.
Materials:
Silk Garden Sock Yarn by Noro (40% wool, 25% slk, 25% polymide, 10% mohair; 328 yds 300m/100g)
• 1 skein color S268
Needles:
• One 29” circular (circ) needle size US 8 (5 mm).
Or size to obtain gauge.
Notions:
• Stitch marker
Gauge: 16 sts and 30 rows = 4” in Gtr St after wet blocking.
