Lantern Scarf
This is a simple & fun beginner friendly scarf, that works for just about any yarn type.
Scarf is written for two weights of yarn, directions are written separately for DK/sport/worsted weight yarn, followed by fingering weight yarn. Both versions are also charted (charts are on separate pages, so you can easily print just the charts, or skip printing the charts to save yourself ink if you don’t use them).
Materials: 1 ball (50 grams) of fingering, DK or sport weight yarn OR 2 balls (100 grams) of worsted weight yarn, & a crochet hook that gives you a nice, drapey fabric (I used an H hook; I crochet loosely & most crocheters need to go up 1-2 crochet hooks to match gauge)
Measurements: Will vary with gauge & materials used. My finished scarf was 6” wide (at widest point) by 66” long after blocking using 1 ball (50 grams) Knit Picks Felici Sport weight yarn
