Layer Me
Layer Me is a recipe for a delicious winter woolly layer cake:
Choose your favourite colour ingredients for flavour, whisk into an airy mix with yarn over, and finish your cosy winter confection with a delicious neutral coloured sponge layer of textural contrast. No icing needed, you’re already sheltered against the frost.
This snuggly cowl is designed for a gradient set of five mini skeins accompanied by a main colour with a pleasantly contrast and is worked from a provisional cast-on in rows. After five striped garter and lace sections the cast-on has to be unravelled and the live stitches are joined with the kitchener stitch. The non working yarn travels invisibly inside the i-cord edge and doesn’t need to be cut.
