This hood uses the extreme fan drop stitch (tutorials are available on youtube) The hood can be adjusted to size by changing the number of beginning ch stitchs (explained in pattern) or by increasing/decreasing the number of pattern repeats. I used 3 colors for this pattern, but any combination of 2 or more would work and it took most of a skien of supersaver yarn for each color in the example.
