Lightning Shrug
A simple shrug knit on the bias turns show stopping when using a gorgeous hand dyed yarn.
The main piece of this shrug is worked flat on the bias to form a rectangle. The rectangle is folded in half lengthwise and then seamed at each side for the sleeves, while leaving an opening in the center for the body ribbing. Stitches are then picked up around the center opening and the wide ribbing is worked in the round.
