The Little Boxes Socks integrate two simple Fair Isle patterns, using 1x1 stripes on the heel and sole, and little boxes for the leg and instep. The heel maintains the striping through a few diversions from the standard heel flap and turn, and the result is incredible. Check out the matching Little Boxes Beanie and Coozie.

Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4); Adult Small (Adult Medium, Adult Large, Adult XL).

Finished circumference: 6.75 (8, 9.25, 10.75)”/ 16.5 (20, 23.5, 26.5)cm.

Finished height: Standard - 6”/ 15cm; Tall - 8”/ 20.5cm, or as desired.

To be worn with no ease - these socks have minimal stretch.

Needles: US 1/ 2.25mm or size to obtain gauge, and US 0/ 2.0mm or 0.25mm smaller than gauge needles, in preferred sock needles.

Gauge: 36 sts and 40 rnds = 4”/ 10cm over Fair Isle pattern. Use the Little Boxes Coozie pattern for a fun and functional
swatch.

MC: 180 (200, 220, 240) yards/ 166 (184, 202, 221) meters; and

MC: 200 (220, 240, 260) yards/ 184 (202, 221, 239) meters; and
CC: 160 (180, 200, 220) yards/ 147 (166, 184, 202) meters.
